beginners
Learning to snowboard doesn't have to be a painful process! Get started the right way, either in a one-to-one lesson or with a group of friends. Happy to teach beginners in any of the Tarentaise resorts - Sainte Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isere, La Rosiere or Les Arcs. I am a specialist snowboard instructor and ALL of my training and experience is in teaching snowboarding, not skiing.
INTERMEDIATES
Take your riding to the next level. Whether you want to start hitting fresh snow off piste, develop your carving and steep turns, figure out your first freestyle tricks or just build your confidence around the mountain, I'd love to work with you.
Advanced
Too many riders stop taking lessons as soon as they can get around the mountain. Nothing wrong with just charging around and having fun, but working on the fundamentals of your riding will always help you to expand your horizons. Fixing any flaws in your riding and mastering more advanced riding techniques will let you tackle the steepest powder with confidence, charge through the trees, rip turns on an icy black and build the platforms to let you throw-down freestyle tricks in the park or around the mountain.
Freeride
Freeriding is my passion and there is no better place than Sainte Foy to find fresh tracks. I can help you make the transition from piste to off-piste riding or guide you to find the best terrain and the best snow around.
freestyle
Developing my freestyle riding has been a huge part of my journey towards becoming a top-level instructor. It adds a whole new (fun!) dimension to snowboarding. There are loads of tricks that can be learned on the flat or on natural features in Sainte Foy (presses, butters, small spins, jumps and drops) or I can run sessions in the park in Tignes or Val d'Isere, with transport provided to/from Sainte Foy if required. You don't need to be an expert rider to get into freestyle riding. As soon as you can make turns and control your speed, you can start learning tricks!
